Hughes Intelligence Canada was established in 1994 and has expanded its organization into Private Uniform Security and Special Services.
Recognizing the need in both the corporate and commercial communities for high-risk protective services, Hughes Intelligence has assembled a multi-national team of seasoned professionals to compliment its existing team of Investigative and Security Specialists.
Our Firm currently supplies security to a large number of Liquor Licensed Premises in the South Western Ontario and to large Seasonal Events like Bayfest and the Grand Bend Motorplex Venue.
Hughes Intelligence Canada has extensively expanded our services to include security for commercial and Corporate Events, Close Body Protection Services and Loss Prevention Services. Substantial steps have been taken to ensure all of our personnel receive the most current and appropriate training available, in order to provide unparalleled service in all areas of personal and physical security.
The Special Services Branch has set a long-term (five year) objective of offering training and consulting services, into what is currently offered by our Security Services.
Mr. Bentley joined the firm after retiring from the Ontario Police Services. Barry has 25 years of police service, starting in Toronto. He is now located in Sarnia, Ontario.
Barry has been a qualified Collision Reconstructionist for over 12 years and has successfully completed and obtained diplomas in collision reconstruction, pedestrian reconstruction, commercial vehicle reconstruction and physics. He has investigated hundreds of serious injury and fatal collisions and has trained hundreds of Police Officers throughout Canada in Collision Investigation.
While employed by the Toronto Police Service he conducted numerous general investigations and is experienced in interviewing techniques, interviewing interrogation techniques, statement admissibility, major case management, and police supervision.
Barry has been qualified as an expert in court and provided evidence as a collision reconstructionist. Barry has been assigned as an acting Sergeant in charge of the Police Traffic Division, also as an acting Sergeant on a platoon level. Prior to his retirement he was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Branch to investigate violent crimes and sexual assaults.
Mr. Prior is a graduate of Centennial College, Scarborough, Ontario and the University of Toronto Faculty of Management and possesses diplomas and certificates in the Human Resources and Management, Criminology, Labour Relations and Business Administration. Ron is a graduate of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Academy and the Ontario Police College, Aylmer, the Canadian Police College, Ottawa and has attended Seminars from the Federal Bureau of Investigation at Quantico, Virginia, U.S.A.
While serving with the Metropolitan Toronto Police Service, Ron spent his career in investigation serving a number of years in the Fraud Squad, Homicide Squad and the Intelligence Bureau. Through this service, Ron conducted major investigations and document preparations for different levels of the judicial system in Canada. Throughout his career with the Police Service, Ron developed numerous contacts with the National and International Law Enforcement Agencies and continues to maintain these resources and contacts today.
After completing twenty-six years in law enforcement, Ron retired with the rank of Inspector and ventured into the world of Sales, Marketing and Financial Management. This, coupled with his other experiences, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Hughes Intelligence Team.
